· CHEERFUL ·
Milo the Bunny
A cheerful bunny whose energy lifts the practice without ever crossing into pushy.
- habit tracker fans
- morning routine users
- practitioners who want gentle encouragement without guilt
Personality
Milo is the bunny. Small hops, expressive ears, and a default expression that reads as cheerful without being saccharine. Where Koko is the panda slowness and Luna is the cat indifference, Milo is the quiet encouragement option.
Habit streaks are where Milo shines. Logging a habit produces a small visual reaction from Milo on the Pet tab, the home-screen widget, and the Lock Screen. The reaction is brief and easy to miss, which is the point. We did not want a companion that demands attention every time you log a glass of water.
Bunnies are also the species most associated with rebuilding small daily practices in pop culture. Milo leans into that without turning into a productivity bunny.
Evolution stages
Every Hope pet evolves through four stages as your practice grows. The shape changes; the relationship does not.
-
1. Baby
Kit
A tiny bunny with disproportionately large feet and ears. Hops are small and frequent.
-
2. Young
Young bunny
Proportions even out. Hops become more controlled. The cheerful default expression settles in.
-
3. Adult
Adult bunny
Full-grown Milo. Ears reach full length. Animation cycle has a confident, settled rhythm.
-
4. Sage
Sage bunny
A small visual marker (often a lighter coat patch) indicates long practice. Pose holds slightly longer at rest.
Role in the practice
Best paired with the Habits tab. Habit logs and streak milestones produce small Milo reactions. Also responsive to morning routine completions.
Inside the Hope iOS app
Milo appears on the Pet tab, widgets, and Dynamic Island. He is the most expressive of the eight pets during habit logging, which makes him a natural pick if habit tracking is your primary use case for Hope.
Download Hope on the App StoreFrequently asked
- Will Milo guilt me if I miss a streak day?
- No. Hope is built without streak shame. Milo does not pace, does not look sad, does not produce a "you broke your streak" reaction. The streak counter is optional and can be hidden entirely.
- Is Milo too energetic for evening use?
- Milo's animation pacing is even across the day. He does not get louder at night. If you find his energy too high for wind-down, swap to Koko or Nori before bed; the pet preference can be changed any time without losing progress.
- Does Milo have a special move?
- Pets in Hope have visual reactions tied to practice events. Milo's reactions are biased toward habit and focus completions. Specific mechanics evolve between Hope releases.
