Terms of Use
The terms that govern your use of hope., including in-app purchases, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using hope. (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of hope., including anyone who accesses the App through any device.
License Grant
hope. grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App on Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple Watch, Mac) that you own or control, subject to the terms and conditions of these Terms.
This license does not permit you to:
- Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the App's code or features.
- Sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or redistribute the App.
- Use the App for commercial purposes without permission.
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice.
- Use the App in any manner that could harm, disable, or impair the App.
Apple Media Services Terms: Use of hope. is also governed by Apple's standard terms and conditions for apps distributed via the App Store, including Apple's Media Services Terms.
In-App Purchases
No Subscriptions
hope. does not offer subscriptions. There are no recurring charges, no free trials that auto-convert, and no auto-renewals. The App is a free download. All optional purchases are one-time and are yours for life once purchased.
Types of In-App Purchases
hope. offers two kinds of optional in-app purchases:
- Non-consumable (permanent unlocks): themes, focus soundscapes, notification tones, app icons, the Luna Island feature, and bundles of the above. Once purchased, these are tied to your Apple ID forever and can be restored on any device you sign in to.
- Consumable (coin packs): in-app credits that you can spend on optional cosmetic and progression items within the App. Coins are consumed when used and cannot be refunded once spent.
Prices may vary by region, currency, and applicable taxes. Prices shown in the App and on this website are in US dollars; your local App Store will display the equivalent in your own currency.
How Purchases Work
All transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple charges your Apple ID's payment method, deducts its commission, and remits the remainder to hope.. We never see your payment information, billing address, or Apple ID credentials.
Restoring Purchases
If you reinstall the App or switch devices, open Settings → Restore Purchases inside hope. to re-download all your previous non-consumable purchases. Consumable coins, by design, are spent in-app and cannot be restored.
Refunds
All purchases are final sales. However, Apple allows customers to request a refund for any App Store purchase at Apple's discretion, typically within 14 days of the charge. hope. cannot process refunds directly; refunds must be requested through Apple.
To request a refund:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com (Apple's official refund portal).
- Sign in with your Apple ID.
- Select the charge for hope..
- Choose "Report a Problem" and select your reason.
- Submit your request. Apple will review and respond directly.
Apple alone approves or denies refund requests; hope. has no input on the decision.
User Conduct
When using hope., you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App.
- Distribute, sublicense, rent, lend, or lease the App or parts of it.
- Use the App in any way that could interfere with, disrupt, or harm hope.'s infrastructure or other users' use.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to hope.'s servers, accounts, or systems (though our data is stored locally, so this is largely inapplicable).
- Use the App to transmit malware, viruses, or malicious code.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse hope. staff or other users.
Violation of these conduct rules may result in termination of your account or removal of the App from your device.
User Content
hope. allows you to create and store content within the App, including journal entries, meditation notes, and pet data ("User Content").
You own your data. All User Content you create is your property. hope. claims no ownership over your journal entries, notes, or personal information you store locally in the App.
We do not access your content. Since all data is stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers, hope. cannot access, read, modify, or delete your User Content.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for any User Content you create. Do not store sensitive information (passwords, credit card numbers, etc.) in the App's journal or notes.
Backup: If you switch devices without backing up your app data via iCloud, your User Content will be lost. We strongly recommend using iOS iCloud backup for app data protection.

hope. provides wellness tools for personal reflection, mindfulness practice, and habit tracking. It does not:
- Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or mental health condition.
- Provide medical, psychological, or clinical advice.
- Replace therapy, counseling, or treatment from a licensed healthcare provider.

As-Is Disclaimer
hope. is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, hope. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:
- Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from bugs.
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content.
Your use of hope. is at your own risk. We do not warrant that hope. will meet your expectations or requirements.
Third-Party Content
hope. may include links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Apple Health, App Store). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, hope. and its developers, distributors, and affiliates are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost revenue, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Direct damages, except to the extent caused solely by hope.'s gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App, including data loss, failed meditation sessions, or pet progression loss.
Cap on Liability: In no event shall hope.'s total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for hope. in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10, whichever is greater).
Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of indirect or consequential damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Istanbul, Türkiye, for the resolution of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of hope. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence (including, for EU users, rights under EU consumer protection legislation, and for California users, rights under the CCPA).
Dispute Resolution: Before initiating legal proceedings, please contact hope. at help@hopewellness.app to attempt informal resolution. We will respond within 5 business days to address your concern.
Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA)
hope. is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at:

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's EULA will govern to the extent it relates to Apple's requirements or platform terms.
